David Platt
is a multi-medium artist with 30 years experience as a master
metal smith in copper, stainless steel, iron and brass. David
is a native of Arizona, he relocated to the Verde Valley in
1985. This move was the beginning of the David Platt Studio.
Creativity and master craftsmanship merge in the Platt
studio with the outcome being creations of metal, stained
glass, and ot her
organic materials. These creations may express themselves
as functional or decorative art. David’s work can be
found in homes , businesses, and institutions inside or outside.
It
is difficult to separate the residential and commercial aspects
of David’s work. There is a great amount of cross-over,
in that the mediums used lend themselves to many different
applications. David has utilized the exposed duct work in
many different environments including personal homes, libraries
and corporate offices. His unique copper and steel accented
bathrooms are appropriate in both residential and office settings.
We have differentiated between residential and commercial
for this web site to help stimulate ideas of what a client
may desire. All in all, David’s mastery of his art form
can be applied to any setting. |

David
lives in Cottonwood Arizona with his crew of three dogs, three
cats and a yet to be determined number of chickens. |
